NVIDIA's Founder Says Farmers Should Absolutely Use AI

“If I were a farmer, I would absolutely use AI.”

That’s Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA.

And he's pointing to one of AI’s biggest untapped opportunities: Farming. It’s an industry facing mounting pressure to produce more with less and it’s still massively under-automated.

DIT AgTech brings AI, nutrition automation, and real-time data to livestock production, helping ranchers boost productivity and get more from every animal.

And it’s already proven in one of the world's toughest livestock environments:

  • 500+ units deployed

  • 370,000 head of livestock on the platform

  • Up to 55% higher daily weight gain

Now expanding into the U.S. and Brazil, DIT AgTech is targeting a 300M+ head cattle market. And the biggest barrier to adoption? Gone. Ranchers get the technology for free when they sign up for a three-year nutrition plan.

DIT AgTech can scale adoption faster, which means more data and more recurring revenue.

Invest before this early-stage opportunity gets harder to access.

GM to the Top 1% ☕

A rep showed me her outbound dashboard last week like it was a trophy. 4,200 emails in September. 3.1% reply rate. Green arrows everywhere.

I asked her how many of those replies turned into a first meeting. She scrolled for a while. Then she said seven.

Seven meetings out of 4,200 sends. The dashboard was celebrating the out-of-office messages.

💡 YOUR REPLY RATE IS COUNTING ROBOTS

Sales.co published the receipts on their own AI-written outbound: 1,288,605 cold emails sent between October 2025 and August 2026. The raw reply rate was 2.66%. Then they removed the machines.

53.7% of every reply was automated. Out-of-office notices, bounces, "this person has left the company." Strip those out and the human reply rate falls to 0.70%. Count only the replies that were interested and you land at 0.24%. One interested human for every 421 emails sent.

Here is the part nobody puts on a slide. Gartner found 73% of buyers actively avoid suppliers who send irrelevant outreach. So the other 420 emails are not neutral. They are quietly teaching your market to ignore your domain.

Volume used to be a strategy because sending cost something and most reps would not do it. Now sending costs nothing and everyone does it. The edge moved from how many to which ones.

The metric that matters this quarter is not reply rate. It is interested replies per account you actually chose.

🔧 THE 421 AUDIT

Four moves to find out what your outbound is really producing. Takes about 45 minutes with last month's data.

1. Strip the robots: Export every reply from September and delete anything automated: out-of-office, bounces, "no longer with the company." Most reps find half their replies disappear on this step alone.

2. Count interested only: Of what is left, mark only replies that asked a question, agreed to talk, or referred you to someone. That number divided by total sends is your real rate. Write it down next to the dashboard number.

3. Find your 1 in 421: Look at the interested replies and find what they share. Usually it is a trigger event, a named peer, or a problem stated in the buyer's own words. That pattern is your entire outbound strategy for Q4.

4. Cut the send list by 80%: Keep only accounts that match the pattern from step three. Send fewer emails with more specificity. If your interested count holds while sends drop, you just bought back hours and stopped burning your domain.

🎯 THIS WEEK'S HOMEWORK

Run steps one and two before Wednesday and calculate your real interested rate for September. Then write both numbers, the dashboard rate and the real rate, on a sticky note on your monitor. You will make different decisions all quarter once you stop looking at the flattering one.

❓ QUESTION OF THE DAY

What is your interested reply rate, not your reply rate?

Reply with the number. Most sellers have never calculated it, which is exactly why it is worth knowing.

P.S. Step three only works if your emails sound like a person who did the homework.
