Happy Fourth if you are in the States. Pour the coffee, this one is a short operator read while the grill warms up.

Something shifted this month and most sellers missed it because it did not look like a sales story. AI stopped being a tool you open on the side and started being a teammate you tag inside the workspace where the work already happens.

That is a bigger deal for your career than any single feature release.

💡 SPEAK THE PLATFORM OR BECOME THE FEATURE

In June the major AI labs pushed collaborative, in-workspace agents into the places teams already work. You no longer leave to use the model. You tag it into the channel, hand it the context, and it executes alongside you. Inside the companies building this, a majority of one product team's output now runs through tagged AI in the flow of work, not in a separate window.

Here is why that matters for a seller. When AI lived in a side tab, AI fluency was a private productivity hack. Now that it lives in the room, AI fluency is visible. It shows up in how fast you turn a messy call into a clean recap, how sharply you brief an exec, how you pull an answer in real time on a live call instead of promising to follow up.

That is what executive presence is now. Not just composure and a good voice. The visible ability to operate the most powerful tool in the room without breaking stride. Buyers read it as competence because it is competence.

And the flip side is the uncomfortable part. If you cannot operate AI fluently, you are no longer just less productive. You are increasingly the thing a fluent operator can do without. Speak the platform, or quietly become the feature.

🔧 THE FLUENCY REPS

Build visible AI fluency the way you built every other sales skill. Repetition in public.

1. Recap in the room: On your next internal call, turn the conversation into a clean summary and next steps live, while everyone is still on. Speed in front of people is the new signal.

2. Brief before you walk in: Make a one-page AI brief on every account a reflex, not a project. Fluent operators are never the least prepared person in the meeting.

3. Answer live, not later: Practice pulling a real answer during a call instead of parking it for follow up. The rep who resolves it in the room earns the room.

4. Make it teachable: If you can show a teammate how you did it, you own the skill. If you cannot, you got lucky. Fluency is repeatable.

🎯 THIS WEEK'S HOMEWORK

Pick one moment this coming week where you would normally say "let me follow up on that." Instead, operate AI in real time and resolve it on the spot. Notice how the room responds. That response is the new executive presence forming.

QUESTION OF THE DAY

In your next buyer meeting, could you operate AI live without breaking your stride, or would you wait until after the call?

Hit reply and be honest. I read every one.

See you tomorrow.
