Stop making AI decisions in the dark.
Leadership is asking: are we getting value from AI? Which tools are worth the spend? Where are we exposed? Right now, most teams have no idea.
Harmonic Security Usage Explorer changes that.
You get a complete picture of how your organization uses AI, automatically categorized into custom tasks and use cases.
You’ll see the projects being worked on, who’s using what tools, where AI investments are driving value, and where employees are engaging in risky behavior.
CIOs can rationalize spending and cut wasted licenses. CISOs can pinpoint where risk exists and neutralize it. AI committees can show exactly how their efforts are paying off.
GM to the Top 1% ☕
Sunday. A quieter one, to close the week.
Step back from the individual stories, the deliverability cliff, the failing agentic pilots, the identical AI emails, and one pattern runs through all of them. This was the year the tools equalized.
The gap that used to separate good reps from great ones was often just access. To better data, faster research, more reach, sharper templates. The machine erased that gap in about eighteen months. Your competitor now has the same models, the same enrichment, the same ability to send at scale. The software is no longer where the difference lives.
💡 WHEN THE TOOLS ARE EQUAL, THE PERSON IS THE ONLY VARIABLE LEFT.
There is something clarifying in this, if you let it land. For a while it felt like the winners would be whoever adopted the most tools the fastest. That race is basically over, and it ended in a tie. Everyone has the stack.
So the question quietly changed underneath us. It is no longer what can your tools do. It is what can you do that your tools cannot. The judgment to know which deal is real. The trust that makes a nervous buyer choose you. The point of view that makes someone stop and think. The presence to hold a hard room. None of that came in the software update, and none of it can be bought by your competitor.
Here is the thought to carry into next week. The machine did not make you less valuable. It stripped away everything that was never really you, the busywork, the volume, the access advantage, and left the one thing that was always the actual job. Who you are in front of the buyer. When everyone has the same AI, the person becomes the product. Spend this year becoming a person worth choosing.
🔧 HOW TO COMPOUND THE PART OF YOU THAT CANNOT BE COMMODITIZED
The tools plateaued. You do not have to.
1. Build a point of view on the record: Have takes about your market and share them. A recognizable human beats an anonymous sequence every time.
2. Deepen a few relationships, do not spray many: Trust compounds. Go deep with the buyers and champions who will define your next three years.
3. Practice the human skills deliberately: Reading a room, handling silence, changing a mind. These are trainable, and almost nobody trains them.
4. Let the machine do the rest without guilt: Automate the commodity so your energy goes to the part that is uniquely, un-copyably you.
🎯 THIS WEEK'S HOMEWORK
Ask yourself one honest question and write the answer down. If a buyer had access to the same AI you do, why would they still choose to work with you? Whatever that answer is, that is your actual product. Spend next week making it sharper.
❓ QUESTION OF THE DAY
When the tools are identical, what is the reason a buyer picks you anyway?
Reply with your answer. It is worth knowing before Monday.
See you tomorrow.

P.S. The tools equalized, but how you use them still separates you. The 500 prompts I use are built to sharpen the human part, the point of view, the judgment, the reframe, not replace it. It is 27 dollars, and it is the best lever I know: https://store.edwardgorbis.com
